Bottle Returns Program

As a bottle returns program volunteer your role will be to sort liquor, wine and beer bottles and cans donated and dropped off at the Animal Centre.

There are 2 ways that we need help. One is to offer your time during the week to sort getting ready for the big bottle pick up day, which is Wednesday. The second part of the program happens every Wednesday morning from 8:30am for approximately one hour, there are days this takes longer with larger donations. Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions. Ability to work independently and be supportive of the Society’s policies and procedures.

The Orangeville & District Animal Centre depends on the warmth, generosity and skills of our volunteers. Our volunteers bring a wealth of skills and experience to our organization and assist us with tasks such as basic animal care, fundraising events, general administrative duties and more.  If you love animals, believe in animal welfare philosophies, and want to help us in our lifesaving efforts, please consider a volunteer opportunity with our Animal Centre!

Please note:  Ontario SCPA requires all volunteers to be 14 years of age or older to participate in our volunteer program
