Friday Afternoon- 1:30-5:00pm

Bottle Returns Program
As a bottle returns program volunteer your role will be to sort liquor, wine and beer bottles and cans donated and dropped off at the Animal Centre.
We need volunteers every day for an hour in the morning and an hour in the late afternoon to keep the donations sorted & area tidy. You can offer your time during the week to sort & bin the donations in the correct bins getting ready for the big bottle pick up day, which is Wednesday.
Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions. Ability to work independently and be supportive of the Society’s policies and procedures.
The Orangeville & District Animal Centre depends on the warmth, generosity and skills of our volunteers. Our volunteers bring a wealth of skills and experience to our organization and assist us with tasks such as basic animal care, fundraising events, general administrative duties and more. Applicants to our volunteer program are accepted based on suitability, interest, skills and our available positions. Successful candidates will be required to complete Basic Introductory Training and Placement Training prior to being placed on the volunteer schedule. Criminal record checks with vulnerable sector screening is required for certain positions.
